Jessica Sylvester, MS RD/LDN CNSC® CDCES® 

Jessica has over a decade of experience working in the field of nutrition, ranging from clinical nutrition counseling to research and nutrition communications. She received her M.S. in Nutrition Communications from Tufts University Friedman School of Nutrition Science and Policy, where she worked with food chemists, nutrition policy makers, global researchers and healthcare professionals alike. She is a registered dietitian (RD) and licensed dietitian/nutritionist (LDN) with advanced clinical board certifications in critical care nutrition support (CNSC®) and diabetes management (CDCES®). 

 

Jessica specializes in condition-specific nutrition therapy. This is a short list of some of the medical conditions that she has nutrition experience with: renal and hepatic diseases, diabetes, autoimmune conditions, Women's health, gastrointestinal disorders, wound healing, HIV, pulmonary disease, neurological needs, sepsis, malnutrition, trauma, post-surgical, and critical illness. Jessica has also provided successful weight-loss counseling for both adults and pediatric patients with multiple healthcare needs.

 

Jessica is also currently a National Media Spokesperson for the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, representing dietitians, scientific integrity and contributing to the growth of the nutrition field.

 

Nutrition is Jessica's passion. She takes pride in contributing to national healthcare goals and helping individual patients manage their nutrition needs.  

Nicole Roesch, MBA RDN CPT Pn2

 

Nicole brings a wealth of nutrition, exercise and physiology, and behavior change expertise to the FL Nutrition Group team. She is currently pursuing her second career as a registered dietitian. As such, Nicole has a deep understanding of the evolution of nutrition and dietetics, from a scientific and research-based perspective. As an athlete and Certified Personal Trainer and Youth Fitness Trainer herself, Nicole has an expanse of knowledge in Sports Nutrition. She also has expertise in dietary management of eating disorders and women's health. 

 

Nicole's passion for nutrition goes beyond individual patient care. She currently sits on the Florida Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics Presidential Advisory Board as the Consumer Protection Coordinator, advocating for the importance of maintaining dietetic licensure for both registered dietitians and patients, alike. Nicole directly partners and work with political leaders to make improvements to nutrition and health policies on the the State and Federal level.
